Please read these terms of RETURNS + REFUNDS (“Terms”, “Terms of Service," "Returns," "Refunds," "Exchanges") carefully before using the www.mcgilsky.com website (the “Service” or “Website”) operated by Kate McGilsky (“www.mcgilsky.com”, "this site", "the site," "McGilsky.com," "Kate McGilsky,” Katharine McGilsky").  

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.  These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who wish to access or use the Service.  By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.  If you disagree with any part of the terms then you do not have permission to access the Service.
 

PRINTS SOLD DIRECTLY THROUGH MCGILSKY.COM and etsy.com | EXCHANGES + REFUNDS + RETURNS INFORMATION


McGilsky.com will offer a full 100% returns/refunds (minus shipping cost) within 30 days of purchase. You will be required to mail item back to Kate McGilsky in order to have a full return/refund.  If 30 days have gone by since your delivery confirmation date, unfortunately Katharine can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To complete your return, Katharine will also require a receipt or proof of purchase that shows print was purchased directly from McGilsky.com or ETSY.com (@mcgilsky).

For every item shipped from McGilsky.com, a picture proof is taken of item to show packaging and to show item condition.  Also, for every item mailed out from McGilsky.com, a $85 insurance policy is added to shipping.  Therefore, if item arrives damaged to buyer/you, it is the sole responsibility of USPS to refund the $85 insurance to either McGilsky.com or to you.  If refund is granted to McGilsky.com, you will be refunded the $85. Please call Kate directly at 734-508-2726 if your item arrives damaged so we can fix the situation.  Prints. purchased from McGilsky’s Etsy page vary.  You will have ETSY return information to complete and then refund will be given via ETSY.com.

To begin the process of your return you must: 
 

1. Send an email to kate@mcgilsky.com or call Kate directly at (734) 508-2726 which will: 

- state the product concern and return reason 

- picture of damaged item 

- proof of purchase receipt with order number 
 

2. Wait for a "Return Approval" email directly from Kate McGilsky (or other designated employee from www.mcgilsky.com). This email will be where you are notified of the Return Approval and the process to refund your item will be explained in the email. You will also be given www.mcgilsky.com's return mailing address to mail your item to.  

Once your item is returned and processed and state of item determined, you will be reimbursed for full price of the item (minus shipping cost to purchaser: this means if you paid $75 for the print and paid $10 shipping – you will received $75 back for the print). 

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. 

  • In order to process a return, you will need to directly email us kate@mcgilsky.com before mailing item to us. Please note aforementioned that McGilsky.com is not liable for any shipping concerns regarding the package you mail back to us.  You must use a tracking number that is supplied to Kate to ensure that McGilsky.com can track the package. 

  • All returned PRINTS must be purchased directly from McGilsky.com. Any returns from purchases made at Threadless.com or ETSY.com are not eligible for a return through our site and will need to be resolved with Etsy.com or Threadless.com

  • Upon the completed return process, your payment will be returned to your original payment credit card/debit card you used to purchase product within 30 business days
     

PLEASE NOTE: as aforementioned, returns/refunds are ONLY for the actual amount paid – this means minus all return shipping costs that you (buyer) purchased in order to return the product to McGilsky.com are NOT reimbursed and will also not be returned to you from the original purchase.  Returns for ETSY are processed through ETSY.  However, item will be shipped from Kate McGilsky.

Exchanges are not offered at this time. 

SHIPPING ERRORS DUE TO P.O. BOX information for prints sold directly through mcgilsky.com and etsy.com

McGilsky.com will ship to a P.O. Box only within the continental United States.  However, McGilsky.com is NOT liable for any fraudulent charges made under your name and sent to an anonymous P.O. Box nor any deliveries sent to a fake delivery P.O. Boxes.   
 

Also, if your package is delivered to the wrong P.O. Box number or location, McGilsky.com will NOT refund your product or send you a new order.  Instead, you the buyer (you) will have to place a fraudulent/lost package concern with USPS (United States Postal Service) or the owners of the building that houses your P.O. Box.  McGilsky.com is not liable for ANY lost packages, undelivered packages, or damaged packages.

 


 

LOST PACKAGES/UNDELIVERED PACKAGES/MISSING ORDERS SOLD DIRECTLY THROUGH MCGILSKY.COM and Etsy.com

In the case that your package is miss-delivered by USPS, McGilsky.com is NOT liable for any missing packages or packages that were mis-delivered.  Due to fraudulent behavior in the past, McGilsky.com is no longer liable for refunding you (the buyer) the cost of your items nor exchanging you a new order for free if a customer states their package has been "stolen" or "was lost" by USPS. 

McGilsky.com only ships with USPS and therefore, if your package is lost, stolen, miss-delivered, or damaged upon delivery, it is the buyer's SOLE RESPONSIBILITY to handle the situation directly with the USPS office who delivers your (the buyer's) mail.  You will be supplied a tracking number for your USPS package that you can track and monitor during the delivery period.  Once your McGilsky.com order has left our production facility + store, we are no longer liable for any damaged goods or lost packages.  

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION FOR ORDERS SOLD DIRECTLY THROUGH MCGILSKY.COM AND ETSY.COM

Please be aware that shipping charges do not include international taxes or duties. Contact the customs office in the destination country for information about any applicable duties or taxes. If an order is placed on McGilsky.com and then refused at international shipping location/International office location/due to COVID-19 restrictions or other International shipping information, you will be responsible for the original shipping & handling costs, as well as any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that were incurred in shipping the package. These amounts will be subtracted from your merchandise refund. 

 

McGilsky.com is also not responsible for any lost or damaged packages mailed overseas.  You (the buyer) will be given a shipping tracking number and once the package leaves the McGilsky.com store, McGilsky.com is NOT liable for any damages or refunds or returns.  You (the buyer) will have to file a complaint with the shipping company and department.  McGilsky.com has made every effort to minimize the international shipping charges. McGilsky.com will only charge the original at-cost for these services. McGilsky.com does not make any profit on our shipping services to international customers.

Lastly, McGilsky.com is required by law to disclose the full value of the package contents and cannot alter this value. You will see the exact mailing price on the shipping information on your package. In the European Union, these fees can be 30% or more of the total declared value of your order.  Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

CLOTHING + ACCESSORIES + HOUSE ITEMS VIA THREADLESS REFUNDS + RETURNS

At this time McGilsky.com is no longer selling clothing merch directly via McGilsky.com – however, all clothing sales are 100% refundable and returnable via Threadless.com.  If you purchase an item through Threadless.com at the McGilsky Art page you will order through Threadless.com and all returns and refunds will be directed toward Threadless.com and will be processed through them.

ETSY INFORMATION

Prints purchased from ETSY.com McGilsky’s page (titled: mcgilsky) McGilsky.com fall under the same shipping and sold information for prints sold directly from McGilsky.com.  Kate McGilsky will be shipping the items that are placed from Etsy.com, however you will process your order from Etsy.com. Also, all refunds are placed through Etsy.com should you have an issue with your item.  If you have any questions regarding your ETSY prints, please email Kate directly at kate@mcgilsky.com or call Kate at: 734-508-2726.
