RETURNS + REFUNDS
Returns: Katharine offers returns within 30 days of purchase, provided the product is in original condition. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Return Policy: www.mcgilsky.com's Return Policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your delivery confirmation date, unfortunately Katharine can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Proof of satisfactory delivery by you (purchaser/returner) must be accompanied with a visual depiction of the product showing damage. To complete your return, Katharine will also require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Returns + Exchanges:
Returns include having a new item sent to you should your original product become defective or damaged before opening of the product. This includes you receiving a damaged mailer or package that has destroyed your item solely from Katharine McGilsky. Paintings purchased through VANGOART.CO contain a separate Return + Refund policy and www.mcgilsky.com's Return + Refund Policy do not pertain to any paintings purchased through them.
To begin the process of your return you must:
1. Send an email which will:
- state the product concern and return reason
- picture of damaged item
- proof of purchase receipt with order number
2. Wait for a "Return Approval" email directly from Katharine McGilsky (or other designated employee from www.mcgilsky.com). This email will be where you are notified of the Return Approval and the process to refund your item will be explained in the email. You will also be given www.mcgilsky.com's return mailing address to mail your item to. Notice you will need to return the damaged item before receiving a new return print from Katharine McGilsky. You will have to pay for return shipping.
Please Note: It may take 3-5 business days for this refund to reflect on your credit card statement once the refund is approved and processed on www.mcgilsky.com's end.
Sale items: Refunds are for the actual amount paid.
Exchanges: www.mcgilsky.com will replace defective or damaged items for free excluding the cost for standard domestic shipping. If you need to exchange your item for the same item, you will need to also follow the aforementioned return/exchange information. Please send your Return/Exchange email to Katharine at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Return + Refund Shipping Address: To return your product only after your Return Email you will be given a Return Shipping Address from Katharine McGilsky to mail/return your item to. This website will not list a specific mail address at this time for Privacy reasons.
Lastly: Please use a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. www.mcgilsky.com can not guarantee that Katharine will receive your returned item.
Katharine McGilsky will ship to a P.O. Box only within the continental United States.
International Shipping: Please be aware that shipping charges do not include international taxes or duties. Contact the customs office in the destination country for information about any applicable duties or taxes. If an order is placed on www.mcgilsky.com and then refused, you will be responsible for the original shipping & handling costs, as well as any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that were incurred in shipping the package. These amounts will be subtracted from your merchandise refund. www.mcgilsky.com has made every effort to minimize the international shipping charges. Katharine will only charge the original at-cost for these services. Katharine does not make any profit on her shipping services to international customers. Also, www.mcgilsky.com is required by law to disclose the full value of the package contents and cannot alter this value. In the European Union, these fees can be 30% or more of the total declared value of your order.Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.* USPS First Class shipping is the most economic option available but please be advised that it may take longer to receive the package and that it does not provide detailed tracking information.
