  • McGilsky.com does NOT use third-party advertising companies to serve or track ads on our website.  However, when you click to purchase McGilsky.com goods on Etsy or Threadless, please note that they may use your information when purchasing from them or visiting their site.  We encourage you to access their website with any concerns you may have regarding their 3rd Party Advertising. Those companies may use information about your visit to this and other websites in order to measure advertising effectiveness and to provide advertisements about goods and services that may be of interest to you.

  • McGilsky.com does NOT require that you register in order to view its products or website information and pages.
     

  • Under no circumstances does McGilsky.com rent, trade or share your address or e-mail address with any other company for their marketing purposes without your consent.

Registration

  • McGilsky.com does NOT require you to register at this site, nor do we offer any option for you to register on this site for anything at this time.

 

Orders

  • If you purchase a product or service from McGilsky.com directly, we request certain personally identifiable information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date and the 3 digit security code). We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you. Additionally, If you purchase a product or service from an Artist Shop on Etsy.com (@mcgilsky) and Threadless (@mcgilsky shop), your contact information may be shared with the registered shop owner for targeted online and offline marketing purposes.  You may see their security information on their websites.
     

  • After your shopping/checkout process has ended, your information has left McGilsky.com servers and will no longer be used in any other capacity for your time on the site. After completion of your purchase, we will no longer have access to your credit card number.  The only identifying information left we will use will be your address + full name to mail your Print to.
     

  • Your information may be stored by Wix.com + PayPal + Square who are used to process credit card payments on McGilsky.com. This information is NOT stored by us (www.mcgilsky.com), but may be stored by our secure credit card processing company through Wix eCommerce (www.wix.com) and/or PayPal (www.paypal.com) and Square (www.square.com) as “on needed” processes (checking out or ordering other goods from us or our associated websites where www.mcgilsky.com goods are sold: ETSY + Threadless).  Please refer to their Privacy information on their websites.
     

  • McGilsky.com CONTACT FORM: is processed by Wix.com.  Please contact www.wix.com to find out more information regarding their contact form stored information. Once an email is received by Kate via the McGilsky.com form, it is deleted by Kate after she responds to the user.

3. VIRUS + MALWARE SCANNING + SECURITY WEBSITE CHECKS

  • This website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to this site as safe as possible. Please Note: This may not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist McGilsky.com in operating this website, conducting McGilsky.com’s business, or servicing you in sections such as the SHOP page or during the PayPal + Square + Wix checkout service.   • McGilsky.com uses regular Malware Scanning + Virus Scanning on a daily basis via Wix.com servers + paypal + www.paypal.com for our merchant options. Per Wix.com, McGilsky.com has implemented security measures designed to protect the Personal Information you share with us, including physical, electronic and procedural measures. Among other things, we offer HTTPS secure access to our checkout process; the transmission of sensitive payment information (such as a credit card number) through our designated purchase forms is protected by an industry standard SSL/TLS encrypted connection; and we regularly maintain a PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) certification. We also regularly monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks, and regularly check the security of McGilsky.com checkout-process at the STORE and protection of our Visitors’ and Users’ privacy.

    Regardless of the measures and efforts taken by McGilsky.com (and Wix.com) we cannot and do not guarantee the absolute protection and security of your Personal Information, your Users-of-Users’ Personal Information or any other information you upload, publish or otherwise share with Wix or anyone else during the checkout process and the     CONTACT FORM submission.

6. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CALIFORNIA USERS

  • If you are a California resident using the Services, the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) may provide you the right to request access to and deletion of your Personal Information that McGilsky.com might store.  At the time of this PRIVACY POLICY (2.15.21) McGilsky.com does not store any of your information on our site. 

 

  • McGilsky does not sell user Personal Information to third parties for the intents and purposes of the CCPA.

  • As informed in section 3 + 5 above, McGilsky.com may collect, store and process certain Personal Information of Users-of-Users, solely on our Users’ behalf and at their direction during check-out purposes and by user choice when emailing Kate McGilsky through the contact Form.  For such purposes, McGilsky.com services and shall be considered as a “Service Provider” and not as the “Business” (as both such capitalized terms are defined in the CCPA. McGilsky.com does not and will not sell your customers’ (User-of-User) Personal Information.

1. Users can visit this site anonymously.
2. Once this privacy policy is created, McGilsky.com will add a link to it on the HOME page located on the footer of the entire website (accessible on every page of the website).
3. McGilsky.com’s Privacy Policy link includes the word ‘Privacy’ and can be easily be found on this page specified above (PRIVACY POLICY). The Privacy button is found on all website pages as well, located on the footer on both Moblie view and computer view.
4. Users will be notified of any privacy policy changes: On McGilsky’s PRIVACY POLICY (this) page.
5. Users are able to change their personal information: By emailing or info@mcgilsky.com or filling out the submission email form on the CONTACT FORM section of McGilsky.com ABOUT page + or by writing direction to McGilsky.com mailing address or calling our business phone number found at the bottom of this page under CONTACT information.

California’s “Shine the Light” law, Civil Code section 1798.83

This law requires certain businesses to respond to requests from California customers asking about businesses’ practices related to disclosing personal information to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes – note that McGilsky.com does not knowingly collect any information for visitors nor do we use 3rd parties to collect your information when visiting our website.  Also note that we are not allowed by law to at any time disclose your Social Security number, driver’s license number, or other government-issued identification number, financial account number, any health insurance or medical identification number, or any account password or security questions or answers. 7. GOOGLE INFORMATION + ANALYTICS

McGilsky.com has NOT enabled Google AdSense on this site as of our 2.15.21 Privacy Policy update.  We may do so in the future.  Should  we decide to implement Google AdSense or Google Analytics programs, we will notify all users by adding an addendum to this policy and posting it at the top of this Privacy Policy page.  Please check back regularly to see if Addendums are added to any of the TERMS + PRIVACY Policies on McGilsky.com.

8. CAN SPAM ACT
The CAN-SPAM Act is a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have emails stopped from being sent to them, and spells out tough penalties for violations.  McGilsky.com only collects your email address in order to:

1. Assist in the purchase/SHOP process only. 

2. Return an email should you contact Kate directly from the Contact Form.

3. At this time there is no subscription email newsletter for McGilsky.com. However, in the future this may be added to the site. In that case, McGilsky.com will notify users in the updated PRIVACY section that a subscription email newsletter has been added to this site which will collect your email address to only send information emails to. Also, should and when McGilsky.com adds a Newsletter feature to this site, in order to be in accordance with CANSPAM McGilsky.com agrees to the following to allow you to unsubscribe to McGilsky.com future emails (should the subscription newsletter become added to this site.)
